Remains particularly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong.; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 174 pages; Physical description: xii, 174p., frontis. (port.) ; 22cm. Subjects: English poetry -- Poems Verse -- Ammon Wrigley. Notes: Ammon Wrigley was a well respected poet, mainly writing about the moors in Lancashire. He was recognised in his lifetime as a vivid interpreter of moorland and village life in an around Saddleworth in the local dialect and in plain English.
