In back, facing pages of advertisements are facsimiles of lined notebook paper, dated 1910, allowing brewers to make notes regarding fermentation. Commercial ads on endpapers. Profusely illustrated with b/w photos, drawings and facsimiles. Many chemical charts and tables of gravity, alcoholic contents and correction of temperatures for the brewing process. Articles on "How to Make a Good Ale" and "brewing from the feminine point of view". Light water staining not effecting text. Overall, in fair condition.
