Dornbush was an Iowa artist and colleague with Grant Wood at Wood's Stone City Art School and Colony. Dornbush was the director of the colony. WorldCat cites only two entries for this; however, one entry is for the University of Miami, which boasts two copies, each, apparently, slightly different from the other: this example may perhaps be a third variant.
