Book VG with wear to spine ends and corners that gently tears cloth, dampstain to top rear corner, rubbing and general soil, handsome gilt decoration to spine and boards, binding tight, front flyleaf has closed tear to bottom edge, text has some foxing and toning throughout, otherwise unmarked, with handsome gilt to edges of text block. Woodbury, has a bookplate and name in ink in the book, and he may have been the one who gathered together in this binding selections from the various volumes. Our volume has 11 of the beautiful handcolored plates and 11 steel engravings while Volumes I and II have just 7 of each. Here are the pages that we have: 33-192 and 321-378 of Volumes I and II; 1-64, 97-160, 225-256, and 289-352 of Volumes III and IV; and pp. 121-144 of an unknown volume, perhaps V.
