A little tanning to end papers and previous owner's name & dedication to ffep. Dust jacket condition: very good. Unclipped and with some light shelf wear around the edges, small closed tear (approx 3mm) at head of spine, spine a little discoloured. The Cocktail Party was first produced at the Edinburgh Festival in 1949, and by companies in Lomdon and New York in 1950. A list of the original cast is included together with the score of the song One-Eyed Riley.

Slight bumping to the corners and some minor creasing to lower corners of several pages. Internally clean and unmarked. Dust Jacket: fair. Unclipped. Generally rubbed and soiled. Slight loss to extremities of spine, chipping to corners. Several small closed tears. Spine discoloured. Jacket in protective sleeve. This is the text which was first produced at the Edinburgh Festival of 1949 and repeated a year later in Brighton preparatory to a season in New York. Several alterations were made to the text subsequent to the Edinburgh production. A list of the original cast is included and the score of 'One-Eyed Riley'.

Light shelf wear around edges only, spine a little faded. This play was produced with successful results at the Edinburgh festival 1953 and subsequently in London. It is written in the same kind of verse as The Cocktail Party. The text of this first edition was slightly more extended than that used on stage. This is the first impression with 'Ihad' on p7 instead of 'I had'.
