The Cocktail Party was first produced at the Edinburgh Festival in 1949, and by companies in Lomdon and New York in 1950. Slight bumping to the corners and some minor creasing to lower corners of several pages. Internally clean and unmarked. Dust Jacket: fair. Unclipped. Generally rubbed and soiled. Slight loss to extremities of spine, chipping to corners. Several small closed tears. Spine discoloured. Jacket in protective sleeve. This is the text which was first produced at the Edinburgh Festival of 1949 and repeated a year later in Brighton preparatory to a season in New York. Several alterations were made to the text subsequent to the Edinburgh production. A list of the original cast is included and the score of 'One-Eyed Riley'.
