All photographs are printed on cards a little smaller than a hockey or baseball card, and each is roughly half as sturdy as the average sports card. The reverse of each card has the name of the lighthouse on the front, as well as the date it was established, the county in which it is located, and, in some cases, a one-line detail about the structure (for example, "Visible by Boat -- Access to the breakwater is restricted," "Located near the Deer Island Ferry Wharf," and so on). Each card is inserted into its own pocket in a nine-pocket three-ring mylar sheet, with the five sheets inserted into a stiff paper folder.
