The book was signed for print on April 25, 1943.One of 20 000 copies published.Katya, a small girl, shows two untidy teddy bears how to keep house and care for their health with baths, tooth-brushing, callisthenics, good food, sleep and wholesome outdoor activities. This unique edition was issued by People's Commissariat for Health. It's illustrated with photographs of doll and two teddy bears. They were created by the revolutionary activist and later filmstrip creator Vera Arnol'd (1877-1963).OCLC locates one copy of this edition only: in the Princeton University Library.

This photobook by the circus reviewer and chief editor of Soviet Estrada and Circus magazine Nikolay Krivenko is devoted to the Soviet circus: the well-known Soviet clowns (Oleg Popov, Yuri Nikulin, Leonid Yengibarov, Mikhail Rumyantsev), aerialists (Valentina Surkova), jugglers (Grigory Novak, Nikolay Olkhovikov), animal trainers (Durov's dynasty, Irina Bugrimova, Valter Zapashny, Margarita Nazarova), illusionists (Igor Kio), circus on ice, pupils of the circus school, etc. Rare photos from performances are accompanied by the surrealistic illustrations. According to some sources these drawings were created by the graphic artist and book illustrator Vasiliy Valerius (b. 1943). Moskva, Planeta, 1975.Illustrated endpapers.This photobook is about the history of Russian polar exploration, researches, nature, and daily life in the Arctic and the Antarctica was prepared by the Soviet photographer Gennady Koposov (1938-2001). He was 17 years old when his first photograph was published in a newspaper. In 1950s, he joined the Soviet news agency ITAR TASS and in 1960 he started working for the magazine Ogonyok where he stayed until his death. He won the World Press Photo contest in 1964.
