Extremely rare book to find in the English translation.
General Halder was Chief of the German General Staff from 1938 to 1942 (- Austrian Anschluss to when he resigned just before Stalingrad). He was directly reporting to Hitler and no other Army German General was in greater direct contact with Hitler, or more qualified to reveal and critique the true quality of Hitler's military leadership, orders and decsions. Essential and revealing WW2 reading.
Book in very good condition given age and the "phamplet" style. Small sticker on cover. Corner of front flap clipped with price stamped on flap. DJ is N/A.

Very rare 1917 hardback edition, identification code H.O. No. 132. Outside cover is has naturally blemished with age, and spine is slightly sunned, but lettering is clear. Internal pages are clean, appear unread and binding is tight and solid. There is a library ID number on the spine and library sticker on inside front cover. Overall book is in great condition considering it is over 100 years old.
