Boston: Ploughshares Books, 1990. Paperback. 181p., softbound, the first edition in 8.5x5.5 inch pictorial wraps. Very nice copy, entirely sound, clean and unmarked. Buyer should note an oddity: back cover bears a neat keyboard-set label affixed at the publisher's, reading "Not Final Cover / Printer Error" followed by Ploughshares' name, the price ($9.95) and the ISBN (same as printed on copyright page). Ergo, depending on the "final" graphic (or other element) this is the fustest first.

Numerous portraits of church members and advertisements for Oakland, Berkeley, and other East Bay businesses.

Pamphlet. 19p., 8.5x11 inch staplebound wraps; illus., photos., slight rust on inner staples, else in very good condition. "The purpose of Reggae for Cultural Awareness is to create and stimulate a better understanding of Reggae music by developing the cultural linkage inherent in the music," (13).

Pittsburgh: Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, 1966. 121p. exhibition catalog, profusely illus. with black/white reproductions of the African American artist's work, along with works by the other two "naive" European American artists, 8x11 inches, plain printed wraps, spine panel somewhat sunned with a nick at the tail.

New York: Socialist Workers Party, 1970. Six-panel brochure, very good, light handling. From Boutelle's mayoral campaign. Also includes a small photo and blurb for Jeff Mackler's campaign for city council. Paul Boutelle changed his name to Kwame Montsho Ajamu Somburu in 1979.

Oakland: Women's Auxiliary, 1988. 9.5x12 inch yellow folder printed black containing in pockets three 8.5x11 inch handbills, six 8.5x11 inch stapled sheets printed with information, a sermon and images and two 5.5x8.5 inch programs for the event. Pearlie Morgan was the President of the Auxiliary and Rev. Frank Poole was the moderator of the event.

Denver: Self-published by the poet, 1975. 22p., 5.5x6.5 inches, frontis-portrait of the poet in leather flight jacket with personal inscription signed by Smith, very good self-pubished chapbook in stapled red wraps. The African American poet was born in Paris, Texas and was a WWII vet, was living in Denver working on a B.A. in Journalism. Good-natured doggerel.
