Description:
Book Club edition. Bit of creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. The unclipped DJ has light creasing and small chips and tears here and there, the main one being a one-inch closed tear to the rear spine ridge. At the very least a very good reading copy. Continues the adventures of Sir Richard Francis Burton, Mark Twain, Peter Frigate, and millions of others, from various times in the history of the Earth, who have all been mysteriously resurrected on a strange planet known as Riverworld. Their problem is to find their way to the headwaters of the fabulous river, and to find the enigmatic beings who have accomplished their resurrection.

Description:
Undated, possibly late 1920s, early 1930s. Book has light bumping to the top and bottom edges of the spine. Very good- unclipped DJ is protected in an archival sleeve and has light creasing to the edges. Slight age related discolouration to the page edges. It had been three months since Steve Packard had sailed out of a South Sea port and three days since he had ridden out of the sun-baked town of San Juan. Word of his father's death had come to him. The world was his. Ranch Number Ten belonged to him now. His mood changed quickly however when he spotted a young woman in his path. Later, perhaps, he would admit that she was amazingly pretty; that the curves of her little white body were delightfully perfect. At any another time, that would have put sheer delirium into a man's blood.

Description:
Reprint. Illustrated by Arthur Rackham. Book has light rubbing to the edges, bumping to the top corners of the front and back boards, light creasing to the head and tail of the spine and some light age tanning to the pages and page edges. No DJ. J.M. Barrie first created Peter Pan as a baby, living in secret with the birds and fairies in the middle of London, but as the children for whom he invented the stories grew older, so too did Peter, reappearing in Neverland, where he was aided in his epic battles with Red Indians and pirates by the motherly and resourceful Wendy Darling. With their contrary lures of home and escape, childhood and maturity, safety and high adventure, these unforgettable tales are equally popular with children and adults.
