[London]: Marcus Ward & Company, no date (circa 1890). Original tinted lithograph printed on thick card stock measuring 4.75 inches by 5.75 inches. "For Emma" in old ink on the verso.Slightly toned & soiled, trace edge wear, otherwise Near Fine.
A very cool card depicting, presumably, a fat cat banker bull peering through spectacles at a duck carrying a sign reading "Good Times Coming." Publisher Marcus Ward was based in London & the theme of the card almost certainly reflects the depression caused by the Baring Crisis of 1890.
