Spine browned, brief wear at spine extremities & corners, pastedowns & endpapers discolored from binder's glue, binding cracked at page 64 (still secure), occasional foxing, otherwise Good or better. On page 183 author Burberry announces his resignation as orchid grower to the Right Hon. Joseph Chamberlain & current availability as "Orchid Specialist & Cultural Adviser." The remaining text comprises advertising for greenhouse & garden supplies

Cleland, printed in black ink within an elaborate ornamental border in green depicting vines on a trellis surmounting a fountain. Publisher's brown paper over boards backed in gilt-lettered black cloth.
Binding moderately soiled, edges rubbed, corners bruised, roughly opened at title page causing a couple of nicks, occasional handling marks within, otherwise good or better.
A beautifully printed & relatively early example of the work of this important small fine press. Presents articles on gardening reprinted from various sources.

Binding moderately rubbed & soiled, couple of ripples in the cloth, corners bruised, previous owner's name in pencil at ffep, text lightly toned, otherwise Very Good.
Author Frederick William Burbidge was curator of the botanical gardens at Trinity College, Dublin This treatise, enhanced by several illustrations including 4 color plates, contains practical information on greenhouses, watering systems, etc.

Provides a description of the grape, instructions for planting, testimonials, & pricing for vines.

Yoshimura (1921 - 1997) was a distinguished bonsai master largely credited with introducing traditional Japanese techniques and aesthetics to Western bonsai enthusiasts.
