Syracuse, New York: T.H. Appleby MFG. Co., no date (ca. 1890). Chromolithograph trade card on light card stock measuring approximately 5.25 inches by 4 inches, rubber-stamped on the verso, "Leslie A. Appleby, Seedman and Florist, Syracuse, N.Y.," otherwise blank. An applied printed paper label at the bottom left of the front apparently corrects an old address.
Top corners creased, light edge wear including a quarter-inch tear, modest foxing & soiling mostly evident on the verso, otherwise good or better.
Presents a lovely illustration depicting a mare & foal in a corral with a rooster & two chickens sharing the space.
