Small split in the upper joint, slight fraying at spine extremities & corners, spine faded, hinges cracked (still secure), text toned, a good or better copy.
Blanchard (1883 - 1952, was a Canadian priest and the author of several works devoted to the protection of the French language and culture in Quebec.

First edition., Small octavo (7.75" x 5.25"), 162 pages plus 12 unnumbered pages providing "Glossary of exual Terms," with 63 frequently graphic plates from photographs within the pagination (many in color). Publisher's pictorial card covers. OCLC locates a single copy at, natch, Indiana University's Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex as of 6/12/2023.
Brief edge wear, some creasing, lightly rubbed, otherwise very good.

No place: Kembel Publications, (1977). First edition, this copy inscribed, signed, & dated in 1978 in ink by Adolf Sehring on the title page. Oblong 4to, 144 pp including illustrations throughout in color & black & white. Publisher's gilt-lettered tan cloth in pictorial dust jacket.
Margins of the covers briefly sunned, light tannning & foxing mostly at endpapers & pastedowns, otherwise Very Good or better in moderately soiled & foxed dust jacket with edge wear (including short tears & small losses), which has a couple of tissue repairs on the verso, otherwise Good.
Sehring, who passed away in 2015, was the only American artist to be commissioned by the Vatican to paint the official Papal portrait of Pope John Paul II.

Covers spotted, soiled & rubbed, spine a bit sunned, sporadic modest foxing, otherwise good or better.

Author Breihan was a former St. Louis, Missouri County Police Commissioner as well as a prolific writer & signicant collector of materials related to lawmen & outlaws.

Octavo (9.25" x 6.25"), [8], 111, & [1] pages, illustrated. Publisher's yellow/ tan cloth lettered in gilt on the spine, with pictorial device of a fishing net in gilt on the upper cover, in slipcase with an applied, printed title label on the front panel.
Small spot near the top of the spine, previous owner's bookplate at the verso of the first blank page causing staining from mounting glue evident on the recto, otherwise Very Good in like slipcase, lightly soiled, with a couple of dings at the edges.
This copy from the collection of Mary & Bert Tilt with their "Hunting - Fishing" bookplate. The author was a wealthy investment banker, avid angler and gifted writer.

Dorchester, Massachusetts: Walter Baker & Co., two 16mo volumes, 1905 & 1908, each with 64 pages plus 4 leaves of plates printed recto & verso providing chromolithograph illustrations of deserts or the company's products. Publisher's embossed, pictorial, stapled light card covers housed in an illustrated, ribbon-bound folding sleeve opening to pockets for the pamphlets.
Staples rusted, otherwise fine. Sleeve with minor foxing/ soiling, light edge wear including a couple ot short tears, ribbon tie a bit frayed.
The pamphlets have different introductions but present the same recipes & illustrations. The sleeve highlights the company's 1904 World's Fair Grand Prize & touts their "53 highest awards in Europe & America." Although thr recipe books are relatively common, we have never seen another example or even a reference for the sleeve.

London, Edinburgh, & New York: T. Nelson & Sons, no date (1860 per British Library). Oblong 16mo (4.25" x 6.5"), Publisher's pictorial printed wraps with "Description of Plates" (16 pages, sewn) & 12 lithographs in color laid in (as issued).
Wraps mostly split at the fold & now repaired with archival tissue on the verso, soiled, edge wear, previous owner's name in ink on the upper wrap (Buchinger ?), text browned, light foxing/ toning mostly evident on the versos of the plates, otherwise good or better.

New York: Edinburgh Fraternity, no date (ca. 1909). Limited edition, one of 1000 sets, complete in six octavo volumes (8.25" x 5.75"), variously paginated, profusely illustrated including frontis in color in each volume. Publisher's maroon cloth with printed paper labels on the spines.
Bindings very slightly soiled, shallow loss & fraying at the top of the spine on volume six, spine labels a bit toned & foxed, couple of hinges starting to crack (still secure), a good or better set.
A nice set of Burns who is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, enhanced by numerous illustrations & printed music.

London: Robert Hardwicke, 1874. First edition. 12mo, [6], 160 pp, frontis, 4 chromolithograph plates, additional illustrations in text. Publisher's green cloth lettered & decorated in gilt & blind. All edges gilt.
Binding moderately rubbed & soiled, couple of ripples in the cloth, corners bruised, previous owner's name in pencil at ffep, text lightly toned, otherwise Very Good.
Author Frederick William Burbidge was curator of the botanical gardens at Trinity College, Dublin This treatise, enhanced by several illustrations including 4 color plates, contains practical information on greenhouses, watering systems, etc.

New York & London: D. Appleton and Company, 1858. Complete in two volumes. Small quartos (10" x 7"), xii, [6], & 1136 pages (continuously paginated), volume I with extra engraved title page, the set "Embellished with 24 Portraits on Steel and hundreds of wood engravings." Publisher's one-half black pebbled morocco & marbled paper over bevel edged boards, the spines in five compartments separated by raised bands, lettered & decorated in gilt. Text in two columns.
Edges & joints rubbed, hinges cracked at pastedowns of volume I & front free endpaper of volume II which also has a brief, old tape repair, text moderately toned, otherwise Good.
