Binding slightly sunned, early and late leaves browned in the margins, still near fine . The author was professor and subchairman of the psychology department at the Baruch School of Business.

Author Nancy Henley, a feminist psychologist who demanded that the American Psychological Association "acknowledge its sexist practices and the androcentric and misogynistic theories about women that psychology had produced," writes in part: "Mixed groups that wish to discuss women's liberation often begin with a discussion of the ways in which WL will liberate men too, with a focus on the bitchiness rather than the oppression of women: under the present system women are taught to be bitches, manipulating men, etc; if we off the system, women will be tolerable, and men will therefore be liberated." Quite uncommon, OCLC locates a single copy at the University of Michigan.

Publisher's gilt-lettered green buckram. Brief wear mostly at spine extremities, previous owner's name at ffep, light foxing, otherwise very good or better Beebe-Center, an American experimental psychologist, was instructor in psychology at Harvard who writes in the Introduction: "The purpose of the present volume is to remedy the ghost-like state of the psychology of pleasantness and unpleasantness by bringing its facts together into a single orderly structure."
