This work, originally issued in paperback, has been rebound, with the original wraps, in a very neat and professional green cloth binding with a red leather label on the spine. Has toned a bit over the years but is in good to very good condition else. Nicely done. The book is still being reprinted today. One of the great medievalists of his time and the author of the very important Pirenne thesis with its original and inciteful explanation of the decline of the Roman Empire. $35.00
