Best known these days as a co-creator of the characters of Robin and The Joker for the Batman comic book, Jerry Robinson also had a syndicated cartoon feature called True Classroom Flubs and Fluffs. This is a selection of those cartoons. VG/VG+ copy. Very clean and square. Tanning.

NCTE, National Council of Teachers of English, 1997. Paperback. Good+. Ex-library copy. Label at spine and on back cover, stamps and marker on inside back cover (marker has bled through as seen in photos). Stamp on top edge. If it weren't for the library markings, this would easily be VG+ or possibly NF, as it doesn't seem that anyone ever used it.

Hallmark, 1971. Hardcover. VG. Charles M. Schulz. VG copy. Glossy cover; top and bottom of spine are bumped. Name written inside, interior is otherwise clean.

Harper & Row, 1963. Hardcover. VG. 7x9.5 cm, this is one of the five tiny volumes from Hilary Knight's Christmas Nutshell Library, published in 1963 by Harper & Row. This book is missing its dust jacket, bound in pink cloth with holly and a candy cane stamped in green on the cover. There is a name and date written on the ffep.

Golden/Western Publishing, 1971. Hardcover. VG-. Lovely 61 page storybook. Oversized - approx. 10.5"x12" Paper covering the spine is splitting but the spine is still solid, corners have been well abused. Please see photos! Interior has a couple of marks but no writing.

Whitman, 1962. Hardcover. VG. Adam Szwejkowski, Al Andersen. Walt Disney fictionalized Annette Funicello story. VG in illustrated boards. Wear at base of covers; rubbing wear on edge of the spine; top of spine bumped.

Whitman, 1964. Hardcover. VG. Robert L. Jenney, Maxine McCaffrey. A very nice (VG/VG+) copy of this book. Glossy cover, tight spine. Minor damage at top and base of spine. Clean interior, barely tanning.

Whitman, 1963. Hardcover. VG. Nathalee Mode. VG copy of this book in illustrated boards. Glossy cover, tight spine, bumped corners. Spine showing wear at top and bottom. Interior only lightly tanned. First few pages show signs of water damage, but only minor marks.

Oxford University Press, 1957. Hardcover. Good/None. Tasha Tudor. A children's book with lovely month-by-month illustrations of life in the country as it once was.  Gold cloth binding, no dust jacket. Gift inscription on front endpaper, flaps of dust jacket taped onto endpaper facing half-title page. Front of dust jacket folded, taped onto blank leaves at the end of the book. Tape marks on rear pastedown.

Golden Press/Western Publishing, 1956. Hardcover. VG. Garth Williams. Lovely Garth Williams illustrations. Laminate and color pulled up on the top corner for the front cover; chipping at the edge near the base of the spine on the back cover. Rubbing also visible on back cover. Interior clean.

Price/Stern/Sloan, 1976. Hardcover. Good+. Robin James. VG-/G+ Book has clearly survived a child. Corner and edge wear, rubbing. Puncture on back cover at spine. Interior has no writing but a few smudges.

Water exposure visible on outside corners, goes maybe 1 cm inside. Name written inside, marked out with black marker.

Bowker, 1988. Hardcover. VG+. Light rubbing, spine bumped at the base. Unused, NOT ex-library.

Knopf, 1981. Paperback. Good. David Wiesner. Good+ Ex-library copy. Cover has library labels on it, creases and minor soiling; pen marks on edge of text block. White portions of cover are tanning. Interior has library pocket glued to inside front cover; library stamp on title page; one page toward the back is torn but not missing- that page is also lightly soiled. The rest of the interior is clean.  

Binfords & Mort, 1947. Hardcover. VG/Good. Colista Dowling. Wraparound cover art and interior illustrations are by Colista Dowling. Signed with inscription on the dedication page to the students of the Keewaydin school, but shows no signs of being ex-library. VG book in bound in orange cloth with red lettering. Spotting on top edge of text block. DJ is heavily worn and water damaged, with a chunk missing from the back of the DJ and a small hole at the base of the spine.

Parent's Magazine, 1960. Paperback. Good-. Worn, rubbed and discolored, reader's crease and damage at top and bottom of spine, numbers written in ink on cover. Front of cover pulled away from the adhesive on the first page a bit. One page (with crossword) removed, filled in, and then stuck back inside. The rest of the pages are solidly attached.
