UK: James Foster Wadmore, 1880. (UK) No date given, possibly around 1880?, bookplate of James Foster Wadmore who I believe was born in 1822 and lived until 1903. He was associated with the Association of the Royal Institute of British Architects and wrote several books on the buildings and archaeology of the Tonbridge area. I believe these wartercolours are his work as his initials are found on two of them. The back cover is missing, wear to corners of cover, with is spotted with faint staining, the spine is quite worn, 14.5 x 12.5 inches, three-quarter dark leather with grey covers, 26 think carboard leaves, each with one or two original watercolours of buildings and scens from the Tonbridge area in Kent.
