Good. 3 vols complete, 1922, 1st ed, 1 map, 120 pls, + frontis In 3 contemporary volumes, brown card, green titles, corners & edges lightly rubbed. Spines, faded, green titles, edges bumped. Vol 1, Text, frontis, [2], (iii-ix), [1], [1], 2-121 pp, [1]. Portfolio 1, 1 map (folding), 60 pls (coloured, numbered, & titled). Portfolio 2, 60 pls (coloured, numbered, & titled). Undated but 1922. Vol 1, paper is browned (cheap paper), some edges chipped, some leaves almost loose. Port 1 & 2 each have folding flaps (some repairs) to contain the plates, all have a bookseller label to fpds. (190*123 mm).

Appears to have been printed the same year as the 1st edition. (189*112 mm). (Straus, R. The unspeakable Curll. London, 1927, p308; ESTC N50094). The author identified in the editor's preface in other editions as Roger Pheuquewell, i.e. Thomas Stretzer.
