This book is in like new condition throughout, with 870 spotless pages. Dust jacket has been lost.

Binding fairly tight. 251 clean pages with gloss surface and rough cut edges. The only marking in book is owner's names on inside front cover. A very good copy.

Black's Readers) was published with. Red and cream cloth boards with red and blue trim plaque on spine, containing gilded lettering. The rice paper cover has kept the hardcover in excellent condition. Joints and binding are also excellent. 310 spotless pages, lightly tanned. No publishing date but this series was published between the 1950's and 1993. using the copyright by agreement from Harper & Bros, who published the first editions. Copyright in this book is listed as 1932. This reprint edition is very well preserved.
