Signed and inscribed by co-author and American hero Alek Skarlatos on the page facing the half-title, "To Carolyn - It was great to meet you, thanks for the support!" Black hardcover 1st edition with silver spine titles in dustjacket. A good+ copy but with a hard bump to the head of the spine, and a smaller bump to the bottom edge of the front board. A clean tight copy, unmarked other than the author's inscription. Unclipped dustjacket is very good - bright and attractive with minimal wear to the panel edges. 245 pp., the story of a terrorist attack averted by three alert and heroic American travelers. Alek Skarlatos, who signed this copy, has run for Oregon 4th Congressional District - US House of Representatives in two elections.

Signed and inscribed by the author (the artist's son) on the half-title page to local acquaintances, "With kindes Personal Regards to Donna and Orville Vander Griend from Florence and Eugene Fairbanks October 2006." Quarto-size green hardcover, no jacket as issued, no indication of printing, one date. A good+ copy with bumping to both spine tips being it's major flaw. Light shelf-wear to the board edges and a bright, attractive cover illustration. The interior is clean an unmarked other thant he author's inscription. Solid binding, lacking in tightness, most likely due to the signing. 168 pp., black and white photos throughout with a handful of full color photos. A beautiful collection of examinations of Fairbanks' monuments and statues.

New York: Simon & Schuster, 2008. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. Signed and inscribed in black sharpie on the title page by the author, "David E. Read & Enjoy You know some of this - 1995-2005 Willie Brown." A very good copy of the 1st edition in brown and tan boards. Bumping to the ends of the spine column and minor shelf-wear. A clean and tight copy, as if unread. The dustjacket is also very good with a bit of chipping at the top folds and matching bumping at the edges of the spine panel. 350 pp., indexed, some photos. Brown's autobiography detailing his political life as San Francisco mayor.

Gray and blue paper-covered boards, 1st edition, in dustjacket. A good only copy with a hard bump to the top corner and binding cocked backward minorly. Interior is much better, clean and tight as if unread. Unclipped jacket is bright and attractive, but with matching bumps to the top corners. 511 pp., indexed, some black and white photos at center. A good copy despite obviously having been dropped.

Signed without personalization, "Best Wishes, Dan Kurzman" on the front free endpaper. A good copy with general wear at the board edges and spine ends, and a remainder stamp to the bottom text block edges. Interior is clean and unmarked. Binding is solid, but lacking in tightness - cocked forward and with a spine crease near the second picture insert. Unclipped jacket is better than the book, bright, clean and straight with minor wear at the panel edges. 544 pp., some black and white photos, indexed.

Gray and black paper covered boards, 1st edition with a full number line, in dustjacket. A very good copy with minor shelf-wear to the board edges and some crimping at the spine tips. A clean copy in solid binding. Unclipped jacket is also very good, bright and attractive with matching minor wear to the panel edges. 424 pp., indexed, some black and white photos at center.

Signed and inscribed by former Secretary of State, Colin Powell, on the front free-endpaper in black sharpie, "To Selma, Best wishes, Cl. L. Powell. Blue hardcover in dustjacket, 14th printing. A good copy but with bumping and chipping to the base of the spine cap, and sunning along the top edge of the boards. Red reminder dot to the bottom of the textblock, and text block edges with some soiling. The interior is clean and unmarked n a solid binding. Unclipped jacket is bright and attractive, but with matching shipps to the bottom of the spine panel and a bit of ruffling and browning to the top panel edges. Minor scuffing to the rear jacket panel. 643 pp., indexed, two black and white photo sections. Powell passed on in 2021. This is his autobiography from 1995, nicely signed.

Manila: Benigno S. Aquino Jr. Foundation, Inc., 1993. First printing. Hardcover. Good/good. Signed and inscribed on the front free-endpaper by former Philippine president Corazon C. Aquino, "To John Moseley, With every good wish! Corazon C. Aquino June 10, 1995." Oblong quarto black hardcover with gilt titles to cover and spine. Stated first prining, in dustjacket. A good copy but with bumping to the corners and a heavy scrape to the rear cover, and the rear panel of the dustjacket. Interior is much better, clean and unmarked in a solid binding. Dustjacket is also good in spite of the rear panel scrape, with general ruffling and shelf-wear to the panel edges. 149 pp., filled with black and white photos of Senator Aquino, who was assassinated by the Marcos regime in the early 1980s, nicely signed by his widow, and Philippine political powerhouse Cory Aquino.

Unclipped jacket is also very good with matching crimping at the spine panel tips, bright and crisp. 360 pp., indexed, black and white photos at center. Hickenlooper has represented Colorado as Mayor of Denver, State Governor, and as a United States Senator in congress.

Signed without inscription by first lady Barbara Bush on a blank page between the free endpaper and the half-title. "Autographed Copy" sticker to the lower front panel of the dustjacket. A very good copy with minor crimping at the spine tips and two pencilled X marks on the top and bottom textblock edge. Otherwise a clean, straight, solid copy. Unclipped jacket has minor shelfwear to the top of the panels - bright and attractive. 420 pp., indexed, color photo insert at center. Nicely signed.

Signed (initials only) largely on the front free-endpaper by the author. A very good copy with bending at the corners and spine ends and light soil to the bottom text edge. Binding is tight as if unread and all the pages are unmarked other than a previous owner's name. Unclipped jacket is good+ with some bending and wear at the panel edges and light soiling inside. 152 pp. of text and a large section of photos of letters received by the author at rear. The courageious story of the author's illness, her dog's illness and an ongoing fight against bullying that has lead to her speaking at hundreds of schools across the nation.

Green cloth and gray boards, hardcover with gilt spine lettering. Second printing in unclipped dustjacket. A very good copy with minor shelfwear to the board edges. Clean and tight as if unread. The jacket is not quite as good with minor soiling and some ruffling bends to the panel edges - still good+. 223 pp., indexed. Jimmy Carter, while an unpopular president, gained the respect of a nation through his work with Habitat for Humanity and other humanitarian efforts. He is the longest-lived US President in history.

Castro's autobiography detailing his upbringing, education, and political engagement.

Pocket, stamps and labels, including a discard stamp to the pocket as appropriate. Binding cocked backward, discoloration to the cover edges. Call number neatly blacked out on the spine. Hinges and binding are solid and the pages are clean and unmarked other than a previous price erasure to the top of the half-title page. Unclipped jacket with $3.95 price intact in a ring caused by a sticker covering it. Jacket is chipped, with longer tears at the head of the spine, and a large square sticker removal scar to the top of the rear panel. 223 pp., indexed, some black and white photos at center.
