Binding is solid and hinges are intact. Pages are unmarked, but the major flaw is some staining at the textblock edge from what looks like coffee drips. The rear free-endpaper also has staining, visible in the photos. The drips are not extreme and do not show up on the text pages. Unclipped jacket is also good with light wear to the panel edges and some drips as well. "Skitoma" point on page 243, also pictured. 454 pp., the bestseller in a true first printing.

A good copy with moderate wear to the board edges and corners, and a knick to the cloth at the top of the front joint. Interior is very good indeed - clean, tight and unmarked. Unclipped dustjacket with matching tear at the top of the front joint region and light edgewear to the panels including minor dampstaining at the foot of the spine panel. 349 pp., a thriller from native American novelist James Welch.

Signed without inscription by the author on the title page. A very good copy with minor shelf-wear and a heavy bump to the head of the spine. Pencilled X at the top and bottom of the text block edge, otherwise a clean, tight and unmarked copy. Unclipped jacket with minor scuffing to the front panel and matching bump at the head of the spine. 381 pp., a thriller of oil, Alaska and corporate power.

New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1990. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good. Brown hardcover 1st edition in dustjacket. A very good copy of the book with minor wear at the edges and a bit of bumping at the spine ends. Text is clean and unmarked, binding is tight as if unread. One small soiled spot to the front edge of the text block and a red pen mark to the top edge, maybe a remainder indicator. Unclipped dustjacket is only good with general shelf wear, short tears around the head and heel of the spine panel, and heavy creasing to the rear flap. 407 pp., book three in this series of thrillers by the author of His Dark Materials.
