Signed and inscribed by the author, and members of the Stewart and Pittman families who led the company through the years. All inscriptions are to "Doc" and signers are Michael Thoele, L.L. Stub Stewart, Dorothy Chapman Stewart, and S.E. Pitt Pittman. A very good copy with wear at the spine heel and 2 previous owner's inscriptions to the front pastedown (one of whom is "Doc"). Unclipped jacket is also very good with minor wear at the spine ends, still bright and attractive. 647 pp., indexed, filled with black and white photos of the history of this Oregon grown timber legend.

Xlibris Corporation, 2013. Revised. Paperback. Very Good. Oversized softcover. A very good copy with minor bending at the corners and a lift to the front cover. All pages clean and unmarked. Solid binding with no creasing at the spine. 167 pp., filled with full color photos of Oregon's 50 / 51 covered bridges. Beware - the photos and directions and some of the history are great BUT the author has a hard time with grammar in general... Still worth the time if you love the local history of these beautiful bridges.

A very good copy with minimal wear at the edges. Some wear to the back cover - as if someone had been writing on paper set atop the book - no markings, just indention. 1 page dog-eared. Clean and tight as if unread. 300 pp., indexed, some b/w photos. An exacting history of cases from the southern Oregon coast. Fascinating for local historians.

Some warping to the book. Interior is much better - clean, bright and unmarked. 120 pp., with full color and black and white pictures. The memoir of a well-known and passionate Pacific Northwest forester.

Some bending and creasing to the upper corners, otherwise a clean bright and solid copy of this title. 143 pp., the tale of an Oregon shipwreck by a local historian.

Minor shelf-wear at the edges and corners. 79 pp., black and white photos throughout. Includes biographical information on many community leaders and local celebrities such as Jon Krakauer, BLou Carman and Joseph Malango. A must have local history for CHS graduates.

Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "To the students at Colton High School - Enjoy my view - Rex Ziak August 30th 2005." Sunning to the spine column and general shelfwear at the edges. A few scuffs to the bottom of the rear cover likely from a sticker removal. 219 pp., indexed, full of color illustrations.

New York: The Macmillan Company, 1932. First edition. Hardcover. Good/fair. Red hardcover 1st edition in dustjacket. A good+ copy with minor wear at the corner tips and some bruising and fraying at the spine tips. Browning to the paper in the gutters of the free endpapers (at the hinges), otherwise the interior is clean and solid. Clipped dustjacket is not quite as good with browning and soil to the yellow panels, chips and tears at the edges including a 1" chip at the bottom of the rear panel. - now protected in mylar. 348 pp., indexed, a detailed history of the Lee expedition and his time in Oregon ministering to the new residents.

General wear at the edges and corners and a crease at the upper half of the front edge of the cover. Text is all clean and unmarked, binding is solid and no creasing at the spine. 120 pp., filled with black and white historical photos of Oregon's capital county.

Text clean and unmarked and binding solid. Black and white, and color pictures throughout. 133 pp., a beautiful collection of Oregon historical photography, reinterpreted and photographed again in the current day - a fascinating project brought to life in an exhibit that this book captures beautifully.

Signed and inscribed by both authors on the half-title page, "To Rob & Jen, With our best wishes. Tony Bamonte, Suzanne Bamonte 5.12.01." A very good copy with light wear at the corners, and some scuffing at the head of the spine cap. Interior is clean and unmarked other than the authors' inscription. Binding solid. 352 pp., indexed, filled with black and white photos of the contestants and the city from the beginning of the pageant.

Strange discoloration to the last page - it looks like a piece of movie film had been stored there and left browning track marks. 273 pp., some black and white photos and illustrations, histories of local chapters and lists of past officers.

Oregon: Published by the author, 1965. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Green leatherette with gilt titles, signed by the author on the title page, "Best Wishes, Margie." A very good copy - lacking dustjacket. Minor wear at the corners and spine tips and two small light spites to the front cover appear to be the only blemishes. Interior is clean and tight with the author's signature being the only marking. 55 numbered pages, a list of sources loosely credited and a frontispiece of "Indian Dan" in black and white. An unusual local history - Oregon residents will recognize the name Archie Knowles from a lovely campground on the 126 corridor.

A clean solid copy of this local history published by the community newspaper. Black and white photos throughout. 90 pp., many adverts included with the short local articles. Polk County Oregon includes Dallas, Monmouth, Independence, Falls City.

Crease to the front cover toward the front edges, and a amall stain to the front edge as well. General edge-wear to the covers, interior is clean and unmarked. Both of the staples are still firm and strong. 43 pp., an odd little history of Eugene, Oregon, home of the University of Oregon, complete with Zodiac charts.

Good condition with some bending to the corners and a couple of scratches to the front cover. Interior clean and unmarked, binding solid. 81 pp., some black and white illustrations - hand published with copy-style pages. An interesting inventory of the west coast settlers from the Doane family.

Texas: The Naylor Company, 1968. Hardcover. Good +/good +. Blue hardcover in dustjacket. No statement of edition, but not one of the original 100 handmade copies. A good plus copy with heavy wear at the spine ends and general shelf-wear to the edges and corners of the board. Previous owner's name to the front pastedown and a gift inscription to the first blank appear to be the only writing or markings. Binding is solid, but opens widely at the front hinge - not broken. The dustjacket has shome short tears at the joints, fading and light soil to the spine panel and edges, and a scar from a sticker removal to the rear panel. Overall a good plus copy of this history of Alpine, Oregon and the original Belknap settlement, put together by 3rd and 4th graders in pursuit of their local history. 222 pp., some black and white photos.

A good only copy with wear and bending at the edges and corners and a 1" tear to the top of the front cover above the title. Light soiling to the covers and thumbing at the edges. Interior is clean and unmarked in a solid binding - much better than the exterior. 158 pp., indexed, black and white photos throughout - a collection of reminiscences from Southwest Pacific County in Washington State, including stories of family and local history of the area. Potentially of interest to those doing family or genealogical research.
