Philadellphia: Childs & Peterson. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1857. Hardcover. Brown cloth hardbacks are tightly bound with gilt to spines and ornate blindstamping to both covers. Vol. 1 has 464pp, Vol. 2 467pp. Both have maps, engravings, and tissue guards in place. End papers are dark brown. Both volumes have damp stains and foxing throughout with edges dust dulled. Vol. 1 is slightly cocked and has two newspaper clippings about Prof. L. L. Dyche laid in which have caused substantial foxing to pp 66 and 67. Bindings have wear at spines and corners with boards showing and curving. Both have FO name in pencil. Digital photos available. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
