The book appears to be a kind of school yearbook - but an odd one, with its emphasis - apparently much more important years ago than today - on fraternity life. Each of the fraternities has a few pages devoted to its past years activities. Other campus organizations are recognized as well - such as The Mathematical Club, The Greeley Agricultural Club, The Sprague Boat Club, etc, etc. There are also 26pp of very interesting 19th century advertising. 9.5" X 6.25" apparently rebound in heavy duty brick-red buckram. John C. Yorston & Co., New York, Cincinnati, Chicago, 1889. 3 Volumes: 11" X 7.75" in marbled boards with red leather corners and spines. All edges gilt. The outward condition of these volumes can only be described as deplorable. They are heavily rubbed and abraded along edges; hinges are in various stages of weakness, with the front cover of volume I entirely detached. There is some writing inside the front cover of each Volume: POOR condition. However, the contents are still in nice condition - clean and tight. Many engraved portraits. 380/374/699pp.. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket.
