A little rubbing on the dust jacket, otherwise nothing significant in the way of wear. Pretty much nearly new. For mature audiences only. If you only know Anthony from Xanth, this is a whole different thing. A horror story with tendencies toward soft porn. Some may find it troubling. First edition.

Some wear, including bumped corners, creases on the front cover and the spine and a slightly curved spine. Pages are clean and intact, and moderately tight.

A very large paperback (909 pages), which has not worn well, as is usually the case with such oversized paperbacks. The cover has chips, bends and little tears, the spine is creased and somewhat curved. The pages are all still well attached and appear clean, unmarked and bright. A young woman researches the secrets of her family's past, which brings her to a connection with Vlad the Impaler. That's probably never a good thing.

First edition. A collection of short stories and poems from a master of the macabre. Some horror, some thriller, some suspense, some just flat out weird.

A couple creases on the front cover and many on the spine. Pages are clean, intact and moderately tight. An experiment i the Arctic goes very wrong, due in part to nature and an assassin. Written under the pen name of David Axton, and previously published as Prison of Ice. Originally published in 1976.

Straub features one of the few recurring characters in his writings, Timothy Underhill. A story of evil and madness. Book and dust jacket have very little wear. Dust jacket does have the remains of a price sticker (see photo).

Strange and scary, this is another excellent example of Straub's work. Stated first edition, the book is near new. Dust jacket has the remains of a price sticker but no other signs of wear. Hard to put down, don't forget to eat before you start.

First edition, second printing. A little shelf wear on the book, the dust jacket has avoided even that, encased in a clear plastic book cover. The classic evil twin story, reimaged in Straub's own way. This book will ship at over two pounds. Rather than ask for a shipping adjustment at the time of purchase, I have opted to add a small shipping surcharge to the list price.

Cover wear around the edges and corners. Pages intact, clean, binding tight. 381 pages of scary delight. The dead want revenge.

A collection of 10 short stories, plus the novel Sorry, Wrong Number. For its age, the wear is not excessive. Rubs and chips around the edges, with a little extra near the spine. Spine is solid and the pages are whole, albeit a little yellowed. A stain on the cover page and its facing page, and the owner's name inside front and back covers. Rare.
