Description:
In 1916, two young women, bored of the society scene in Auburn, NY, went west to take teaching jobs in the wilds of Northwest Colorado. Dorothy Woodruff and Rosamond Underwood sent many letters home extolling their adventures in the Wild West. This biography/history was constructed from those letters by Dorothy's granddaughter. The book shows a little wear at the corners and edges, but the spine is square and creaseless, and the pages are clean, tight and intact.
