Description:
Marijampole, Lithuania: Dirvos spaustuve, 1938. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good-. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Kazio Simonio. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, rectangular binding measuring 6.75 inches tall and almost 9.75 inches wide. Cloth exterior is quite worn, particularly on the edges. Spine has chips and splits. The internal binding is good but, because of the biting style, the page block is a bit wiggly. Decorated end pages in front and rear are free of any handwriting and bookplates, no library markings, no signatures. The bottom of the front end page is stamped "Printed in Lithuania". Pages are toned due to age and there is quite a bit of foxing on the end pages as well as the text pages. There are 14 pages of introduction, followed by 47 pages of artwork which is on gloss type paper. At the end of the book is an additional six pages which appears to be descriptions and history. Book is in Lithuanian.
