Description:
Chicago, IL: Spauda "Lietuvos" / Jonas Naujokas, 1912. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, green cloth boards with gilt on front. Boards are quite clean for their age with only minor spotting present. The book would normally grade as near fine to fine but there is a pretty hard bump on the lower outside corner, which goes to the entire book. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. The original owner's info is stamped on the front pastedown as well as the preface (Rev. Lewis J. Mendelis of Baltimore Md.) and his signature is lightly written in pencil on the opposite end page. No other handwriting or other markings noted. The last text page has a small chip in the upper inside corner and there are a few light smudges on the backside which is blank.
