Description:
New York: G. W. Dillingham Co., 1895. Soft cover. Good-. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. See photos for condition details. 19th century pulp style softcover, spine states this is Dillingham's Palmetto Library No. 1, August 1895. Exterior shows soiling with chipping/tears, front cover has chunk missing from lower right and rear cover has several tears and chips with the largest being the upper left corner. Chips and tears are also present along the end pages inside the book. The binding itself is in good shape as far as the text pages being secure. Pages are quite toned due to the poor quality of paper used. Only handwriting found in book is on the front cover where the previous owners name is written along the top edge in pencil. Book is been placed in an acid-free archival bag to protect it from further damage and wear.

Dust jacket has bumps and tears along edges with no missing pieces. Black cloth boards with yellow text on front and spine, all edges dyed yellow. No signatures or bookplates, binding tight. Pages are square of paper is very toned due to age and quality paper used. Dust jacket shows some mild soiling and spotting along edges, mainly along the flaps.

New York: Book-A-Mag Co. Inc., 1940. Soft cover. Good+. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Seaman. See photos for condition details. Softcover, measuring just under 7.75 inches tall and stable bound on interior pages. Wraps are soiled with some scuffing present, front has numerous corner crease marks and rear has a crease that runs from top to bottom. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no handwriting present. First few pages has the lower corner darkened with the title page also having a crease that matches the front cover. Last text page shows some darkening as well. Book has been placed in a acid-free archival bag.

New York: F. Tennyson Neely, 1897. Soft cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Softcover, late 19th century pulp publication originally published under the title of "A Marvelous Coincidence". Spine states this was part of the Neely's Popular Library number 83 which was released February 15, 1897. Exterior cover is heavily spotted and soiled spine shows cracks but for the most part is all present. Internal binding looks a little sloppy at the front and rear wraps due to the publishers glue not being applied very well. Pages are very darkened due to the poor quality of paper used and some pages have minor chips. Soiling is also present. A very uncommon publication, the publisher F. Tennyson Neely released a number of titles between 1893- 1899, few have survived as these books were never designed to last and were basically printed on newsprint grade paper.
