[N.P.], 1991. Softcover. Uncorrected/unrecorded proof, ca 1991 ("Rough Draft" hand-written on title page presumably by author); 8 1/2" x 11"; pp. [2], 1-180; black plastic wraps showing very minor wear; small spot to margin of title page, else fine.Carl Henry Marcoux was a United States merchant marine during WWII. His ships took part in the invasion of the Philippines and Okinawa before the war ended in August, 1945. He also served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Marcoux has written several books and memoirs, the manuscripts for which are now in the "Carl Henry Marcoux Collection" at the Library of Congress. His current book, though a work of fiction, is based on real events from the devastating Civil War in El Salvador (1979-1990).

Description:
Point Reyes: Point Reyes Press, 1984. Soft cover. Fine. Uncorrected proof; 7" x 8 1/2"; pp. [4], 3-217; clear plastic wraps with some faint yellowing, else fine. Signed/inscribed by author. A copy of an apparently unpublished/unrecorded 'murder mystery" book with psychic experiences and sleep-research supercomputers thrown in the mix by California author Paki Stedwell, who is also the author of "Patchy coastal fog: From Manhattan to (West) Marin in 24 not-so-easy stages" and "Vaulting: Gymnastics on horseback." Though OCLC and the trade turn up numerous copies of those two works, I have not been able to find any record of the current book.
