Vicente de Carvalho Augusto was a Brazilian journalist, politician, poet, and short-story writer. His "Poemas e Cancoes" (Poems and Songs) marked the beginning of his poetic career.

A beautiful early edition of Wordsworth's poems: Poems of the Imagination, Poems of Fancy, Poems of Childhood, etc. Condition: Good - bluish-green covers, elaborate full-cover gilt decorations and title, all page edges gilt; head and tail of spine worn; corners somewhat rubbed, otherwise boards mostly clean; mild to moderate foxing to pages; a small faint signature to first free page.
