London; 1960., 1960. Two letters and a sheet of 31 different signatures of the South African Rugby Team, all inscribed upon headed note paper with the printed London address of the team, accompanied by a gilt metal lapel badge. The two letters are signed by Dick Lockyear, scrum half in the team, and one refers to the enclosed badge while the other refers to the sheet of signatures and also references some methods of play and gives tips on passing. The letters are dated repectively 7/12/ 60 and 30/11/60. The 3 sheets are each creased from historic folding both horizontally and vertically and each have a tiny drawing-pin hole at the top but are otherwise in Very Good condition. The badge is pinned to a small paper envelope.
