Few pages are faintly browned (see the pictures), overall of very good condition. Rare.

Contemporary full leather binding, ribbed spine with titles, rubbed and corners stuffed. Colored edges. Partly browned. Exlibris by Jean-François Roman de Rives (1666-1740), from Lyon, the famous and most skilful connoisseur of medals at his time. Our copy is in fair-good condition given its age. Complete interior, no plate missing. Second edition, bilingual with Italian and French text, of this famous work which was published for the first time in Rome in 1669 in folio but with a smaller number of plates. Graesse II, 35.
