Description:
(Grand Rapids, Mich): (Simplicity Company), 1915. An octavo, 94 pages, bound in limp leather with emobssed decorative cover. A charming book for recording the important milestones in a baby's life. The first part of the book has blank pages for entering records, illustrated in color by Meleena Burns Denny, in the style of Fanny Cory. The latter pages offer instruction to new parents on the care of their new family member. Topping off this exceptional record book is a little pass book inserted into a pocket on the rear pastedown for baby's first bank deposits! A pristine copy of a book that was reprinted many times.

Description:
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, (1921). Four volumes, The Tale of Pony Twinkleheels, The Tale of the Muley Cow, The Tale of Henrietta Hen and The Tale of Mistah Mule. Early Reprint editions, circa 1930. All volumes are bound in tan cloth with pictorial endleaves. The rear upper corner of The Tale of Pony Twinkleheels is bumped and The Tale of the Muley Cow has a faint spot of discoloration on the front cover. Else, all volumes are pristine. The pictorial dust wrappers exhibit varying degrees of soiling and wear, with two wrappers having large pieces missing from the flaps. The front covers of all jackets are clean and bright. The set retains the rare original cardboard box that is covered in patterned paper resembling batik. A Famous-Barr department store price sticker is on the box, 59 cents. A nice set, particularly with the box.

Description:
Reilly & Lee, Chicago, 1917 Original pictorial cloth, illustrated by John R. Neill with 12 color plates. This is an early, but not first edition, retaining the same number of plates as the first. In later editions, fewer color plates were included. Aside from light soiling, the binding is very bright and firm. The contents exhibit the usual foxing and browning, but all plates are present and in fine condition. A most pleasing copy of one of the popular titles from this iconic American series.

Description:
London: Methuen and Co., 1893. Two volumes, octavo, bound in original finely ribbed blue cloth withgilt titles on covers and spines. Volume One is a first edition. Volume Two is a second edition, with the publisher's catalog bound at the back dated October, 1893. The author's first novel became a smashing success, with ten impressions being called for in the five months following the release of the books. Two volume sets are now quite scarce, with this set being exceptionally clean and bright. The name "Eugenia" is written on the front pastedown of both volumes, repeated on the half-titles with the date 1894 in the first and 1908 in pencil on the second. There is a bit of minor wear to the extremities, else a very good copy of a difficult title to acquire in a "two-decker".

This edition was done, circa 1890 in Morrison, Illinois although there is no indication of publisher or date in the booklet other than Whiteside County, Il and 1860. Bound in the original drab brown wrappers, clean, but well thumbed, staples rusting with several leaves loose, covers creased and a bit dogeared but overall a better than good copy of an unusual item. Only three copies of the 1860 edition are known to exist. Eberstadt 114:89, Graff 333n, Howes B552, Not in Wagner-Camp, unrecorded by Sabin. Description:
New York: Antheneum, 1976. First edition Octavo. Bound in maroon cloth. With the exception of a mere glimmer of edgewear at the lower edges and a previous owner's name on the front pastedown, this is a fine copy of a book generally requiring many apologies for condition..either as an ex-library copy or having been overly, albeit lovingly, handled by a child. In pictorial, mylar protected, dust wrapper, which exhibits a few minor chips and nicks..not price-clipped and exceedingly bright. A very satisfying copy of one of the series of books that continues to delight new and returning readers alike.
