The China Inland Missions, 1925. Hardcover. Good. First edition. Bright red boards, with black titling and depicition of man on horseback. Lightly faded boards, with sun-fading on spine. Front board also looks like something might have been wiped off, leaving a bit of a smudge. Small ripples in board cloth. Spine ends are dented with some wearing wearing to the cloth. Corner tips have miniscule wearing to cloth. Tips are remarkable square, with light bumping to corners. Previous owner name in pencil on FFE, dated 1928. Pastedowns and end papers feature depictions of life in China at that time. Photographic plates towards back of book are nice and clear. Light foxing on pages scattered through out with very light age-toning. Very small stains. Sewn binding is still in good shape, no loose pages. Overall, a neat little book in quite nice condition given its age. 74 pages.

Pages are lightly yellowed, as it text block. Text is in English and Hebrew.

Spine is sun-tanned. Covers have light soiling and are faintly yellowed along outer edges. Text block is clean with only a couple areas of thumbmark smudges. On the spine are remnants of the glue from the binding process. On the half title page is a small sticker, much like a post-it note, but firmly attached.
