Description:
New York: Financial Guardian Publishing Co.. New York, Financial Guardian Publishing Co., 1927. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A near fine copy. Inscribed by the author to the front free endpaper. An sf with future war elements presaging, to whatever extent is realistic, the Great Depression and WWII. The author was a financial investor and baptist, and as such elements of Christianity and perhaps even a hidden code of sorts are included (the solution to which remains elusive; or Warren Buffet got it). The jacket is a nice example with some rubbing to the edges, and a little bumping and nibbling to the spine tips. Page block is a touch dusty and toned, but a pleasing copy overall. [10658, Hyraxia Books]. . Near Fine. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1927.

Description:
New York: Science-Fiction Plus. New York, Science-Fiction Plus, n.d. [1953]. Manuscript. Unbound. Very good condition. Typescript by Dee (Roger Dee Aycock) for Hugo Gernsback and Sam Moskowitz's short-lived Science-Fiction Plus magazine, which ran for seven issues. This is from issue six. With annotations and corrections throughout by Moskowitz and Gernsback. The top corner bears the address of Harry Altshuler who was presumably Dee's agent (Altshuler was a literary agent amongst other things). The annotations make for interesting reading, especially where SM and HG amend one another's amendments. 20pp, single-sided, typed, likely the top copy. Some wear to the edges, but largely in excellent shape. A nice item with the annotations. [8810, Hyraxia Books]. n.d. [1953] . Very Good. Unbound. Manuscript. 1953.

New York: Bonnell, Silver & Co.. New York, Bonnell, Silver & Co., 1901. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A very good copy. Seems to be a comic, absurdist piece. Collects 14 pieces including the introduction and appendix. It's a fun little book, of the lightest interest to collectors of speculative fiction as one of the pieces describes a somewhat maligned Man in the Moon. It's enjoyable though. A little worn, and a couple of leaves chipped to the edges. [9994, Hyraxia Books]. . Very Good. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1901.

London: William Kidd. London, William Kidd, 1831. First Edition. First Impression. Paperback. A very good copy. Uncommon in the wraps. A curious issue, it looks to be complete, but I think it's perhaps lacking a gathering. Fullerton(?), California: No Publisher. Fullerton(?), California, No Publisher, 1975. . Unbound. A three-page (3pp) typed letter signed. A fantastic letter. Dated February 16th 1975. The letter is signed by PKD with nine amendments in the author's hand. Addressed to Claudia Bush. Bush commenced her dialogue with PKD whilst writing her thesis on him for her MA at Idaho State University. The thesis was published as "The Splintered Shards: Reality and Illusion in the Novels of Philip K. Dick." Much of the Bush correspondence is held in the Willis E. McNelly collection at California State University Fullerton; they are scarce in commerce. This letter is written in the aftermath of his VALIS visions of 1974, which happened shortly after a wisdom tooth operation. Dick received a home delivery of opioids from a woman wearing a Christian Ichthys necklace. The symbol emitted a pink beam of light which was the catalyst for months of visionary experiences, including Dicks belief that his mind had…

None: None. None, None, 1986. Manuscript. Unbound. Fine. Unbound typescript, mimeograph. ~315pp. The present copy having been sent from PKD's literary agent to editor and all round SF master David Hartwell. Short TLS laid in from Russell Galen at Scott Meredith Agency to Hartwell. Hartwell was working part-time at Arbor House at the time and went on to publish the book. The typescript represents a nice link in the history of the publication of the (posthumously published) book. Condition is fine, having been stored, presumably by Hartwell, in the agent's box (with label). A lovely item. [8159, Hyraxia Books]. . Fine. Unbound. Manuscript. 1986.

Fullerton(?), California: No Publisher. Fullerton(?), California, No Publisher, 1974. . Unbound. A three-page (3pp) typed letter signed. Date July 19, 1974. The letter is signed by PKD and has eight minor corrections. A wonderful letter offering a primary source for Dick's attempt to understand his 'visions' from around four months earlier, famously reported in his 1981 work VALIS. The letter was published in Underwood-Miller's Selected Letters of Philip K. Dick Volume Three (p192). In this letter PKD recounts to Bush how a bookseller had visited him mentioning that PKD's experiences were…
