Bert Easley (1904-1987) was a long-time stage performer known for a drunken comedy act as the "Tipsy Trickster. After retirement he opened "Bert Easley's Fun Shop" in Phoenix, Arizona.

Verso of last page is advert for "Dr. Clark Johnson's Indian Blood Syrup" Graf #1199 describes an undated edition of 219 pages as preceding the Jersey City editions of 1873 and 1874. Apparently a work of fiction created with the sole purpose of promoting Dr. Johnson's "Blood Syrup"

Sir Emery Walker was one of the most important figures in the world of British book production in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Printer, engraver, typographer, and photographer. He was a friend of William Morris and reportedly inspired him to create the Kelmscott Press. Together with bookbinder T. J. Cobden-Sanderson he founded the Doves Press, though the partnership was short-lived.

Panoramic frontispiece is complete, but separated into 3 pieces with wear to all folds. Semi-monthly publication of the Northwest Steel Company employee's magazine. Much of the content relates to war-time shipbuilding. The large folding photo was a special supplement to the first issue.
