Wraps/Paperback booklet, staple binding, 53 pages. No date--probably 1930's or 1940's. Gray cover has tanning/age toning and a dark gray spot where a price sticker was removed. Inside front cover and title page have owner's name crossed out. Title page has some additional marker and pen. Page 28/29 has some gray smudges, otherwise pages clean and unmarked. Back cover and some pages have minor bends at corners. Very scarce farming title.

Tan-color softcover--cover has brown lettering and artwork. French's Standard Library Edition, copyright 1930 (Note: there was an earlier edition copyright 1929). Acceptable+ condition--good considering the age: cover has a few small stains & a torn-off lower right corner (only a few millimeters are missing). Cover also has general moderate wear. Some yellowing of outer pages. Edges have some shelf dust, discoloration, and staining. Inside is clean and very nice."Broken Dishes" is a lesser-known play by Martin Flavin, who also wrote "The Criminal Code". The text starts with a copy of the program from the 1st performance as presented at the Ritz Theatre, New York, November 5, 1929. The play follows. Photographs from the play and a diagram of the set design are part of the book. It is the French's Standard Library Edition. Rare collectible, good for any fan of New York theater.
