Attractive in matching blue leather bindings with gilt decoration, ribbon bindings and decorative endpapers. Most are in Near Fine or Fine condition. The gilt page edges are bright, with a few scrapes and scratches here and there to the gilt. One or two have some spine lean, but not too drastic. Two volumes have some soiling or staining to the leather on the rear covers. The bottom grade for any volume is Very Good. Bindings are tight and solid, appearing mostly unread. Most still have inserted publication sheets from Easton Press. A handsome and uniform run of the Hornblower books, perilously close to being the complete run of the novels.
