Description:
Norwalk, CT: Easton Press, 2012. Hardcover. Fine. A signed edition, based on the 10th anniversary edition, which was expanded by 12,000 words. Winner of the Hugo, Nebula, Locus, and Bram Stoker awards for the original text. A fine leatherbound copy; no dust jacket, as issued. Signed by Gaiman, with the certificate of authenticity and the publisher's "note" card. Still sealed. There is a scratch on the back, splitting the shrinkwrap and just affecting the leather. It's hard to see, but if you are very particular about such things, this copy isn't for you.

Description:
London: Gollancz, 1990. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. A dark comedy fantasy novel about the unlikely alliance of an angel and a demon assigned to positions on Earth. When the end times approach, the pair-liking England more than the blandness of Heaven and the chaos of Hell-collude to prevent the apocalypse. This was Gaiman's first novel, and the book is one of the most beloved fantasy novels of the 1990s, lately adapted into a streaming series. 268 pages. First edition (first printing, stating "First published..." with no additional printings noted). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket (perhaps there is a very slight spine lean). This copy is signed by both the late Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Double-signed copies are now hard to find.

New York: William Morrow, 2001. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. Winner of the Hugo and Nebula Awards; adapted into a TV series. This American edition probably precedes the Headline edition published in London. The front jacket flap has the date code "0701", for July 2001. However, the Atlantic Press newspaper (Atlantic City, NJ) reported the book as forthcoming in May (April 29, 2001, p. E3) and the first American reviews appeared in that month. UK press accounts about the book show up in July, reporting that the novel had hit the bestseller lists in the US. First edition (first printing with a numberline ending in 1). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket, with edge wear to both the book and the jacket. This copy is signed by Gaiman on the title page.

Description:
Sacramento, CA: The Capital Press, 1928. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 188 pages. The pioneering Mexican American author's first book, an extended essay on the influence of the Catholic Church on Mexican political development. In this book, Galarza explains Mexican politics in the aftermath of the revolution by tracing the corrupting influence of the Catholic Church. The book is notable for its clear prose and tone which is neither apologetic nor dogmatic. It marks the beginning of the author's long publishing career, which would span more than 50 years, as well as the start of his work as a Latin Americanist and historian. Galarza grew up in Sacramento and was orphaned by the influenza outbreak in 1918. An uncommon and important book by one of the few Mexican Americans who were published in the first half of the 20th Century. Remarkably widely held in institutions but quite scarce in commerce-this is the first copy we've handled in more than 15 years. First edition (first printing). Some…
