Description:
No dust jacket. There is no date of publication listed in this book, but the inscription indicates it was given as a gift in 1938. Some sources show a publication date of 1910, others earlier. There is one 6 mm stain at the edge of some pages in the middle of the book, of unknown origin. Otherwise there isn't much deleterious wear. A story of a confirmed bachelor, persuaded to babysit two nephews for a fortnight. Set in the latter part of the 19th Century.
