Philadelphia, 1828. 15th . Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - 7"x4.25. Book Appears aged, but probably was never used. There are no marks or writing on the inside blank pages, or first and last few pages. Some pages are not separated so it was not fully checked for writing because the traces of being uncut are better. There is shelf wear on top and bottom of spine, as well as front top corner, see picture. Has an inscription to Maj. McCaun?, from M. L. Scaudaris? (see picture) dated Aug. 19, 1874. Title page is missing, with the dedication page being the 1st page. Remaining pages are present, tight, have occasional spots, marks, but would be considered average. The condition of the cover is atrocious. This edition is of such rarity that it is probably worth a collector having an orange cloth facsimile cover made, just for appearance.
