Amsterdam, 1690. Good. 2 prints. Bird's eye view copperplate of the Chateau Froidmont and surrounding lands, owned by Pierre Roose, and of Loupogne Castle. Both 15.25 x 14 inches, good with light general foxing, mild edgewear, left edge of sheet unevenly trimmed for the first print, right edge similarly for the second print. Has pencil note that these came from Le Roy's "Castella Brabante" of 1690. Pierre Roose (1585 or 1586 - 1673), lord of Froidmont, Han and Jemeppe, was president of the Brussels Privy Council from 1632 to 1653, and a key actor in the government of the Habsburg Netherlands for over twenty years.
