Detroit Photographic Company. Good. Lithograph. A large format scarce chromo-lithograph of Glenwood Canyon, Colorado, from William Henry Jackson's photos of the late 1800s. The image measures 21" x 17" and is attached to a mount with the caption Scenes Along the Line of the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad and a railroad logo. The upper right corner of the mount is missing, there are tears up to six inches, and a triangular piece about two inches long has been put back into place on the lower edge, extending about 1/4" into the image area. The image has just the lightest soil. The imprint has the photo caption on the left and "Copyright 1899, Detroit Photographic Co" on the right, from the company that bought Jackson's massive negative collection. The colors are strikingly realistic and the color detail of the vegetation is fine. Large prints of Jackson's are hard to find, with large color lithographs even scarcer. ; 23 1/2" x 19" .
