Noticeably sunned or colour-faded at the spine. Some minor creasing but no loss or even nicks/tears. The flaps are evenly tanned.

Having created the hugely successful TV cop series, The Sweeney, the author penned this original novel featuring the principal character from the show, Detective Inspector Jack Regan (played by John Thaw who adorns the dustjacket cover). A nice copy, pushed at the crown a little, upper board bowing just a little and there is a faint water-splash mark to top-edge. The jacket is unclipped and a trifle rubbed at corners/spine tips.

In nice clean condition but with a crease to the front cover which affects the first two or three leaves as well - otherwise Fine or even As New. SIGNED at the contents page by both Jan Siegel and Stephen Baxter. Nice item.

Finland: United Artists, 1954. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. An original Finnish A2-sized cinema poster for the Korean War film, Sabre Jet, starring Robert Stack. The film was first screened in Finland in 1954 with no further theatrical releases. This poster is not a re-issue or a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. The "small" standard vintage Finnish film poster is the most common and collected version and approximates in size to the German or Hungarian A2. Sizes do vary very slightly depending on the printers involved and the era. Stylistically, vintage Finnish movie posters rarely reproduce the same art-work from the original studios' publicity material. Older films were usually re-named in Finnish (and Swedish below) but nearly always referenced the original title of the movie somewhere in the presentation.
