The plates are numbered to CXX but there is no plate XLV or associated text, nor any gap in pagination. Contemporary half calf with marbled boards. Neatly rebacked, the spine with raised bands and a contrasting label. Endpapers renewed. Evidence of use but still a pleasant copy in very useable condition. Dated from the colophon at the foot of p.120 'Printed by J. Rider 14, St. Bartholomew's Close, London'. John Rider II printed from this address from 1835 until his death in 1849. (Bigmore & Wyman Bibliography of Printing, II, 258). Untraced in library catalogues.

Neatly rebacked. No map present. A very good copy of the first printing of Kelly's Surrey. Kelly's had previously produced the Post Office Directory.

1916.. 1916 620, 90 p. New red buckram binding. Removed from a larger volume. No map or titlepage, but the listings are complete with the large section of advertisements at the end.

Contemporary speckled calf, the boards lined with a two line gilt roll, the spine with raised bands and gold lines. The corners bumped with a little loss, the spine ends rubbed. The contents are clean and crisp with the armorial bookplate of Robert Elwes Hamond and Hamond signature to the title page.
