Six pages of ads in front dated September, 1853 and this book listed as 'just out'.There is some chipping at the spine extremities and a scuff mark on the spine, bookplate and owner's signature. Book is clean, tight and square.

Richmond, Va: Hermitage Press, 1908 This is a scarce349 page history of Fredericksburg with much of the information revolving around the Civil war battles fought in its vicinity.This 349 pp book is well illustrated with photographic reproductions. The covers are sunned, the lower tips worn, and there is an occasional damp stain to the margins, more pronounced in the last several pages. A good solid copy.
