This voluminous catalogue has illustrations and prices for much of this supply, including all forms of mechano-therapeutic apparatus for the disabled, prostheses, constraints for the insane [straight jackets, etc.], medical and pharmaceutical chests, surgical armamentaria for specific operations and disorders, equipment for anaesthetics and antisepsis, for disorders of the eye, ear and larynx and so on.

His assassination in Sarajevo is considered the most immediate cause of World War I. He was a dedicated game hunter and kept meticulous records of his numerous hunting expeditions. During his life-time, it is recorded that he killed close on 275,000 animals. His world tour of 1892-1893 included time in Australia and it is no surprise to see that this catalogue was in his archive.
