Description:
Washington, D.C.: The Armagh Press, 1986. First Edition, First Printing. 48 pp, illustrated, with a handwritten correction to a poem (p. 44) in the author’s own hand. Small softcover, VG+, with what looks to be an imprint of a paper clip that runs over the lower edge of the book. Limited to 550 copies, 50 of which were signed. While this is not a signed copy, inserted into the book is a handwritten one-page letter from the author to Maxine Kumin, dated June 1987, which warmly talks about their conversations at the Library of Congress and this, her first book, which she sent to Kumin, saying she would be pleased for her to comment on it. SIGNED in full by Sanders, with a postscript that mentions that the book “is meant to be a contemporary form of a medieval Book of Hours.” Uncommon.

It would seem likely that astrologers will be interviewed by the media with increased frequency to quell a nervous, yet skeptical public of an event which will assuredly draw mass attention. Astrologers will be called upon to do things such as reassure the public that in the 29 appearances of Halley which have been recorded that the world did not end."No copies in commerce or in OCLC.
